Bligh launch sees Pegasus on the silver screen…

The partnership work with the Education Team up at Falmouth’s National Maritime Museum reached it’s conclusion last week with the world premier of the film which was produced by DogBite Films but was directed and starred our amazing team of Y7 s from St Ives School. The project unpicked the myth surrounding Bligh’s Hollywood image of Bligh being little more than a tyrant and a bully … and it also explored the truth behind the popular belief that Fletcher Christain was the blue-eyed boy wonder of the epic tale.

Involving planning; communication; story-boarding; research; questioning and design… this project was incredibly challenging and the outcome – as part of the museum’s newest exhibit – will be there for all to see until January 2018. Certainly worth a visit.
